Dialogue Tour

Future Scenarios

Lena Dobrowolska und Teo Ormond-Skeaping, Portrait of resilience #1, Luang Namtha Province, Lao PDR, 2017

The curator of the exhibition Future Scenarios Sophie Haslinger and Greenpeace's Energy and Climate Spokesperson Adam Pawloff will guide you through the show together. The exhibition Future Scenarios at the KUNST HAUS WIEN Garage shows a three-channel video installation as well as photographs and research material by Dobrowolska and Ormond-Skeaping. Portraits of people from Uganda, Laos, Nepal and Bangladesh - countries severely affected by climate change - stand alongside scenes of climate-induced migration, adaptation strategies, food security and changing nature. Instead of vulnerability, the artist duo places the ability to resist and adapt at the centre of their documentary-artistic debate and initiates a (visual) dialogue about a future yet to be determined.
