KUNST HAUS WIEN curator Verena Kaspar-Eisert leads through the exhibition Alec Soth. Photography Is A Language. It provides an insight into the photographic language of the American artist against the background of American photography of the past decades. From his photographic road trips along the Mississippi and to Niagara Falls, to his examination of dropouts and his haunting portraits all facets of Alec Soth's work are considered. In this special tour, however, it is also about looking closely at, reading and understanding photography in combination with individual knowledge, experiences and emotions.
