Intercultural Photo Walk
On the occasion of the Long Day of Flight, KUNST HAUS WIEN invites to take part in an intercultural photo walk since 2015 which provides the opportunity to exchange with people from other cultures and have fun, with a focus on the activity that unites all participants: photography.
A quick tour through our photography exhibition highlights the current topic of the Photo Walk. After that participants take a walk with a professional photographer and search for traces around topics like Nature or Street Art Photography. In the meantime the participants get to know each other. The photography is considered to be their first common basis for an following intercultural exchange.
Smartphone or single-lens reflex cameras, professional photographer or amateur – everybody in Vienna who enjoys taking photos together with others and meeting people from different countries may join in. Young and old, asylum seekers, Austrians, tourists – the photo walk will do away with any prejudice!
