The exhibition’s thirty-four artistic and academic contributions explore symbioses that have been disrupted, connections that no longer harmonize, and adaptive and combative survival strategies across species—in short: the multifaceted dimensions of loss. Over a shared meal, Lee Pivnik and Nicolas Baird (The Institute of Queer Ecology) will speak with the curators of the show about the necessity of letting go, will provide insights into the exhibition’s genesis, and will share perspectives on collaborative working processes. Furthermore, questions may be raised and associations shared.
There will be a basic selection of food and beverages. All participants are invited to bring a small snack. Which foods help us find comfort in times of loss, and which foods help us face disruptions with a fighting spirit?
Please note: If you have any allergies or intolerances, please bring your own food.
The Institute of Queer Ecology will be present.
