KunstHausWien. Museum Hundertwassser

Outside view of the KunstHausWien

KunstHausWien

You have most certainly never seen such a museum: multicoloured surfaces, asymmetrical forms, and irregularly arranged windows – and not to forget the façade with its rampant greenery. Welcome to the KunstHausWien. Designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the building houses the most extensive permanent collection of works by the Austrian artist and visionary. Beyond paying homage to his legacy, KunstHausWien is extending his ideas. As the first Green Museum, it is the centre for art and ecology, with high-calibre international exhibitions of contemporary art which engage with how we humans shape our environment. It is a platform to create together sustainable solutions for our future – you’re most welcome to join us if you’re interested.

Drop by and have a look. We look forward to meeting you!

Museum Hundertwasser

Our museum is extraordinary in many respects. One can experience Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s unique architectural design. And beyond that, it houses the most extensive collection of his work.
