In this three day workshop, children explore the art of imitation, create costumes inspired by other beings, and playfully develop small related scenes.
Beetles wander in circles, wasps search for blossoms, and a satellite has fallen in love. How all of this is connected can be discovered in the exhibition I Wish We Had More Time. In the workshop, children look at the rhythms of the universe: Which memories do we already carry within us, and which futures can we imagine? This concerns the relationships between species and the passage of time. The characteristics of animals, plants, and other beings are explored and examined more closely by creating costumes. On the final day, short scenes are developed and the figures are brought into relation with one another. Perhaps new and unexpected friendships will emerge?
