Guided tours through the photography exhibition When the wind blows

Air encloses the earth like a membrane. It is the medium of weather and the carrier of odours, sounds and aerosols that influence both climate and health. The invisible element connects living beings, plants and places. The works of the selected international and Austrian artists of different generations aim to make this elementary, yet invisible element visually tangible.

The exhibition When the Wind Blows is a cooperation with the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Price: Tour fee € 3,– plus entrance fee

Wenn der Wind weht

In Kooperation mit der Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien

Luft umschließt die Erde wie eine Membran. Sie ist Medium des Wetters und Trägerin von Gerüchen, Geräuschen und Aerosolen, die sowohl das Klima als auch die Gesundheit beeinflussen. Luft strömt mit dem ersten Atemzug in unseren Körper und mit dem Tod hauchen wir den letzten Atem aus.

Zur Ausstellung

Die Spirale, wie sie mir vorschwebt, ist eine vegetative Spirale, die Ausbuchtungen hat, wo die Linien dicker und dünner werden, so ähnlich wie ein Schnitt durch einen Baum …
