    We offer an educational programme for children and young people to bring them closer to the world of art.

    We offer an educational programme for children and young people to bring them closer to the world of art. In German or English. We start from their world of experience and tailor the content specifically to the needs of young visitors. The interactive guided tours and practice-orientated workshops do not require any prior knowledge on the part of the pupils. It is good for teachers to know in advance that they are responsible for the appropriate behaviour of children and young people.

    All educational programmes can be booked in both German and English. Guided tours of the Hundertwasser exhibition are also available in French on request.

    Guided tours for schools

    • Admission price (without guided tour)

      € 4,- per pupil in class, pupils up to 10 years: free admission

      For all educational programmes for children's groups and schools, a minimum purchase of 15 tickets per group applies.

    • Cancellation

      Booked guided tours can be cancelled in writing free of charge up to seven working days before the date. If you fail to cancel by the deadline, we will have to charge the cancellation fee stated in the booking confirmation.

    • Contact

      If you would like to visit us with your class, please contact us at least three weeks before your preferred date. Unfortunately, due to high demand, it is not possible to book at short notice.

    • Request a group visit

      The KunstHausWien offers customised guided tours for groups through the Museum Hundertwasser as well as through current exhibitions of contemporary art with a focus on ecology and sustainability.

      Booking enquiry
      Group tours can be requested via an online form. After submitting the form, the art education team will get back to you promptly with further information. In the next step, all relevant details such as language, group size, content and preferred date will be agreed.

      Booking confirmation
      As soon as all open questions have been clarified, KunstHausWien will send a written booking confirmation, which is the only way to finalise the appointment.

      Languages
      Guided tours can be booked in German and English. Guided tours of the permanent exhibition on Friedensreich Hundertwasser are also available in French on request.
