Normale Katastrophe

Art curator Sophie Haslinger guides visitors through the solo exhibition Normale Katastrophe by artist Julius von Bismarck.

Whether fires, lightning strikes or storm surges – the exhibition links the natural forces of fire and water with a living environment that humans are increasingly shaping and changing. Normal Catastrophe focuses on human hubris, responsibility and agency, inviting visitors to take a closer look and critically question the consequences of our actions on the environment.

Mon 13 October 2025, 5–6 p.m.
Thu 3 March 2026, 5–6 p.m.

Participation in the guided tour is free of charge.
All you need is a valid admission ticket to the museum.
