Seeding the Future

Seeding the Future

Kids Workshop

The workshop ‘Zukunft säen’ (Seeding the Future) examines seeds from various perspectives. The exhibition serves as fertile ground for exciting stories and fascinating insights!

Seeds build an important bridge between the past and the future. Like tiny time capsules, they can store information that only unfolds when they are sown. As the origin of life and a source of food, plant seeds are the starting point for many amazing stories. This diversity is also reflected in the thirteen artistic positions in the exhibition Seeds. Reclaiming Roots, Sowing Futures. After a joint tour of the exhibition, the participants themselves become active. Using soil and seeds, they form seed balls, which—during a walk in the museum’s surroundings—they toss into nature to strengthen our natural diversity with a colourful mixture.
