On the occasion of the 1000 year-festivities in Austria we are pleased to honor the ingenious artist, illustrator, stage designer and architect Oskar Laske with a retrospective with over 150 works, which are shown fort he first time in this variety at the KunstHausWien.
The generous loans of important public collections (Graphische Sammlung Albertina, Historisches Museum der Stadt Wien, Niederösterreichisches Landesmuseum, Österreichisches Theatermuseum, Neue Galerie der Stadt Linz/Wolfgang-Gurlitt-Museum, etc.) as well as important major works from private collections and the support of the artist’s estate made it possible to present this first comprehensive retrospective of Laske´s art.
