We hope your visit to KunstHausWien stays with you for a long time - foremost thanks to our exhibitions, but perhaps also with the help of a small memento such as a classic souvenir from our shop, where you’ll find all kinds of items related to the museum and its founder, Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It could also be a keepsake from our wide selection of sustainable products, which form the core of our assortment. Take your time browsing our creative, eco-friendly items and books that explore sustainability. Books in general play a major role in our museum shop: from timeless literature to a large variety of children’s books. This way, you can take home something not only for yourself but also share your visit with someone special.

With the Friedlich, a café moved into the museum in 2024 that mirrors Hundertwasser’s eco-friendly and sustainable values in its choice of produce. Daniel Karl and Julia Häußler attach great importance to using high-quality products, wherever possible regional and seasonal, with vegetarian and vegan fare offered daily and always on the menu. Enjoying Friedlich is the perfect way to round off a visit to the KunstHausWien – also because its architecture fits in seamlessly with that of the museum. It is chequered black and white, colourfully playful and lushly green. And you can try Hundertwasser’s favourite dish. We’re not going to tell you what it is though.
