Documentary photographer Susan Meiselas talks to curator Verena Kaspar about her outstanding career, photographic characteristics, approaches to content and professional challenges, as well as her unwavering interest in people and contemporary history.
The US-American Susan Meiselas (*1948), who has worked with Magnum Photos for over 30 years, has published and exhibited internationally. She has been awarded numerous prizes, most recently the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize in 2019. KunstHausWien presents her work comprehensively in Austria for the first time.
